ORGANISATION CEO
- Strategic direction – The CEO is responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction and long-term goals. They create and implement the company’s vision, mission, and overall strategy.
- Operations management -The CEO manages the company’s overall operations, including resources, organizational structure, and day-to-day operations.
- Decision making -The incumbent makes major decisions for the company, including approving or negotiating contracts and agreements. They also approve where money is spent.
- Risk management -The CEO is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the company’s objectives.
- Communication -The CEO is the public face of the company and communicates with stockholders, government entities, and the general public. They also communicate with the board of directors and other executives
- Stakeholder management and Culture -The CEO meets with key stakeholders, manages internal and external relationships, sets the tone for the company’s work culture and develops and upholds the company’s mission and vision. They also represents the company at civic and professional association events and activities.
